is a collection of nine sermons on Isaiah 40, originally preached in
1954. Their aim is primarily evangelistic in intention, and they make
our need and God's answer to that need very clear. These expositions,
however, will not only encourage sinners to trust in the Saviour. They
will inform the minds and warm the hearts of the saints. In other words,
they can do us all good as they bring out the glory of God and answer
typical objections people raise. Benefit yourselves, and then pass the
book on to others and talk about it to them. |
