This very-well written account of the late nineteenth century revival work in Wales is an inspiring and exciting account of the labours of a minister, John Pugh, and two friends, Seth and Frank Joshua, as they worked for God among the English-speaking workers of the industrialised South. Organising open-air preaching and tent meetings, often against open and violent opposition. God used them and others to make the Gospel known. All would enjoy this book and it is hard to think that any could be less than stirred by the account.
